OVERVIEW & FORECAST

During the past 24 hours, solar activity was low. Five active sunspot regions were on the visible disk without M-class or above flares produced. Due to the continuous effects of a coronal hole high speed stream and the CME from 25 Aug, the solar wind speed miantained at about 460 km/s. The geomagnetic field was at active levels for 9 hours and quiet to unsettled levels for the rest of the time.
