OVERVIEW & FORECAST

During the past 24 hours, solar activity was low. Nine sunspot active regions were on the visible disk without any M-class or above flare produced. Due to the effect of the recurrent coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed reached a peak of about 550 km/s. The geomagnetic field was at active levels for 6 hours, and was quiet to unsettled for the rest of the time.
