During the past 24 hours, solar activity was very low. There was only one active sunspot region on the visble disk without M-class and above flares produced. Due to the effect of the coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed reached a peak of about 570 km/s and the geomagnetic field was at active levels for 6 hours. It was quiet to unsettled for the rest of time.

Within the next three days, solar activity is expected to be low. The geomagnetic field is expected to be mainly quiet to unsettled on 22 Feb with possibility of isolated active period and will reach minor storm levels on 23-24 Feb due to the effect of the recurrent coronal hole high speed stream.

During the last week, solar activity was low to moderate, moderate on 13, 16 Feb and low for the rest of time. Six active sunspot regions (AR4369, AR4373-AR4377) were on the visible disk with two M-Class flares produced. No solar proton event occured. The F10.7 index ranged from 116 sfu to 122 sfu. The solar wind speed increased to 420km/s and the geomagnetic field was at active levels for 6 hours. Due to the effect of the recurrent coronal hole high speed stream, the solar wind speed reached the peak of 700km/s and the geomagnetic field was at moderate storm levels for 3 hours, minor storm levesl for 6 hours, active levels for 18 hours on 14-16 Feb. It was quiet to unsettled for the rest of time. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached minor storm levels on 18,19 Feb.

Within the next week, solar activity is expected to be mainly low with little chances for M-class flares. The geomagnetic field is expected to reach active to minor storm levels on 24-26 Feb due to the effect of the recurrent coronal hole high speed stream. It will be mainly quiet to unsettled for the rest of time. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit will remain at minor storm levels on 20-22 Feb.

		The magnetic map of the activity area is generated based on the full day longitudinal magnetic field data of the Huairou Solar Observatory in Beijing.				This full-disk Hα image of sun is observed with the 20cm Full-Disc Hα Telescope located at Huairou Solar Observatory Station of Beijing in China.



		Observatories of cosmic ray in SEPC include Beijing station monitoring Neutron intensity variations and Guangzhou station monitoring the intensity variations of East, West, South, North and Vertical components of muon.				This model is an improved geomagnetic K-index current reporting model based on the evaluation of Takahashi, a commonly used international Kp index current reporting model, and its application to Chinese geomagnetic stations.
